    So, which is more amazing, that we have the technology to actually change the climate of the Earth (remember that we were preceeded in this by algae and other creatures) or that we have the technology to keep track of the results of our fecklessness half a world away in real time?

    The technology, definitely. As you noted, everything changes the climate. We’re just doing it a little more than usual.
