I really like your blog. I’ve been meaning to ask you. Enlighten me please as to your opinion on the solution to the “poverty-conservation” problem in Madagascar? You’ve snickered that population control and local income generation should be taken “with a grain of salt” as part of the solution. What would you recommend? Easy to take a cheap shot, requires more thought to provide an alternative. You got one?
